Our staff is a group of experienced, compassionate and professionally trained individuals who are committed to excellence in care and lifelong results for our patients. Each member understands the importance of good communication and will always take the time to discuss the various processes and steps involved in treatment and to answer your questions as thoroughly as possible. We regularly participate in continuing education courses to stay current in the latest orthodontic techniques and procedures. Our staff members, with an average of over 20 years of experience in the field of orthodontics, have the knowledge, experience and proven dedication to ensure that our patients receive the finest care available.

Our team also takes pride in making sure our patients are comfortable, understand their treatment and have everything they need to make treatment a success. You will find that our focus is on patient service and we will make every attempt to ensure that you have a positive experience while providing the best possible care and treatment results.

Jessica

I joined Hallgren Orthodontics in 2015 and enjoy getting to know all of our patients and their families. My primary role is to assist in front office duties and to ensure a positive experience for all. My husband, Dr. Kevin Hallgren, and I both share a passion for providing exceptional service to each of our patients. My favorite part of orthodontics is seeing the confidence and satisfaction that treatment provides!

Kris

If you wear a Hallgren Orthodontics retainer, I likely assisted in making it! I’ve been on the Hallgren Orthodontics team since 2004, and have worked in the orthodontic industry since 1997. I get the opportunity to experience first-hand our patient’s before-and-after smile transformation, as I meet our patients at their first visit where I assist in taking their diagnostic records, and then get to see them upon completion of their treatment, as I fabricate their retainers in our state-of-the-art lab. It is such a privilege to witness not only the transformation of their smile, but more importantly the transformation of their confidence! If it’s summertime, you can bet that my husband, teenage son, and I are somewhere on Lake Michigan spending our day at the beach!

Mary

Hallgren Orthodontics has been my home since 2001. I enjoy getting extending a warm welcome and getting to know our patients as I take their high-quality images at their first visit to our office. I also enjoy seeing our patients through to the end of their treatment, where you’ll find me fabricating their state-of-the-art retainers in our in-house lab, allowing our patients to maintain their beautiful smiles after completing their orthodontic treatment. When I’m not inspiring smiles in the office, I can be found camping with my family, taking long walks with my dogs, and spending time with my grand kids.

Ellen

Creating a positive patient experience is my commitment to you, as I welcome you to your first visit to our office and assist you in the process of becoming a member of our Hallgren Orthodontics family. Since 2013, you’ll find me obsessing over all things customer service and enhancing the patient experience, as I share the privilege of coordinating our patients’ first visit to our office, as well as overseeing the management of patient accounts. As long as I’m not competing on a golf course with him, I sincerely enjoy working alongside my brother, Dr. Kevin, and take pride in growing our family business to include each and every new patient! If I’m not in the office at your next visit, I’m likely to be visiting my favorite vacation spot (yes, Disney World) with my fiancé, playing golf, spoiling my two senior dogs, or walking the grounds of my alma matter at K College and WMU. I look forward to meeting you!

Angie

I have been a smile-maker since 2007 and joined this amazing team as an orthodontic assistant in May of 2021. If you’ve been to our office before, we’ve probably shared a laugh together, as having fun is easy on the job when you work with a team you love! I am blessed with an amazing 22-year-old son, Alex, and the perfect husband, Mark. After work you can find me running, biking, swimming, camping, or rock hunting…that’s right, rock hunting! I’m a tri-athlete, Boston Marathoner, and an Ultra Marathoner. I like to surprise people with the fact that I played rocket football in middle school and wrestled my senior year of high school! I believe my strong will and positive attitude is what helps shape me into the athlete and orthodontic assistant I am today.

Morgan

I am one of the newest faces in our office and I look forward to introducing myself to you at your next appointment while I’m assisting Dr. Hallgren in our clinic. It is so much fun having a front-row seat to seeing each of our patients’ smiles transform throughout their treatment. I also enjoy working with such uplifting and fun teammates here at Hallgren Orthodontics — we’ll guarantee you’ll smile at all of your visits to our office. Spending time with my family and friends, as well as my two dogs, brings me happiness outside of work. Additionally, if you catch me daydreaming, you can bet I’m dreaming of the summertime and being on the lake with my husband!

Carter

I may be new to the orthodontic career field, but I absolutely love to learn and am absorbing all types of knowledge to best assist our patients at our front desk. Though new to a career in the field, I am no stranger to orthodontic treatment, as I had not one, but two sets of braces as a teenager — so, I can certainly relate to our patients’ treatment experiences. My love for learning has earned me a Bachelor of Arts in French, Spanish, and Arabic, where I graduated cum laude from Western Michigan University (Go Broncos!). I love using my language skills to help patients communicate. When you see me at your next visit, ask me to write your name in Arabic! In my free time, I like watching TV with my cat, making various crafts, and going disc golfing.

Debbie

I made the jump over to the orthodontic world recently, bringing with me twenty years of experience working in the medical field! I’m one of the first friendly faces you’ll see as I welcome you into our office, where I assist with our front office duties and ensure you have a great experience at every appointment! It’s so much fun learning behind the scenes what goes into making a beautiful smile, and a big part of what inspires smiles in our office is how well our team works together. I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work alongside! My passion for having fun extends outside of the office, as I love to run, ski, and travel with my husband, and cherish my role as a mom to Chase and Taryn.

Anna

I’m best described in our office as a golden retriever in human form. I’m happiest when I’m able to make others smile, so my job is a perfect fit for me. I absolutely love working alongside my teammates at Hallgren Orthodontics and take great pride in assisting Dr. Hallgren in our clinic. I have a passion for the dental field and am enjoying learning about what goes into the process of creating healthy, beautiful smiles. The other loves of my life include running and riding and caring for my horses!
